How to tell if a CL ad is fake

It's simple, if the picture is of a girl that looks like a model, if the photo quality looks extremely professional with a beautiful background or tropical scene, it's fake. If on the other hand the kitchen or apartment door can be seen in the photo, or the girl looks good but not great and the picture quality isn't the best, it's real. I mean come on, movie stars and models rarely come to Ottawa to turn tricks. Too good to be true is too good to be true.

I'm sorry but I beg to differ with you on that. Some agencies and Indy's in Montreal, Toronto have pictures taken by Photographer and they look amazing I have seen these type of pic's on CL before and the pic's are really of that person advertising. So I don't think that if the pic is good quality then it's a fake.

One of the CL ads with Lindsay Lohan in bikini was not one of her best picture either it didn't look like it was in your words "the photo quality looks extremely professional".

A few months back my friend was surfing the net and saw an adult directory using her pictures and go figure there was a door in the pic too, so the pic was real however it was used for a girl that looks similar to her.
She had them remove her pic asap.
So for both points that you stated I am sorry but I highly disagree.

Sorry, I hate being the Devils Advocate, but 90% of the "Fake CL ads" don't actually state that this is the girl's picture.

Whats so different from someone using a snazzy border at the bottom of their add and someone using a picture of a really amazing woman/body part for the only reason to set the mood of the ad? Isn't that what advertiser's are all about ? That great blonde is never going to come with the snazy new sport car in most posters.

Granted I'm glad someone is shutting them down, if only because I'm assuming none of these cheap skates are paying royalties to the models or photographers.

Debate and discussion is good, and a valid point, but then why post a picture at all. Although i wouldn't say 90% but a fare number do simply imply it's there picture.

However the "agency" with the number ending 2321 has several obvious fakes, but also they often state specifically that the picture is real for example:

Bottom line is this agency deals in bullshit, anyone stupid enough to call them deserves what ever shows up at the door and I can assure you it will never be the gal in the picture, never.

The same "agency" has regular ads soliciting girls to work for them and even makes mention of salary. So they are also dumb enough not to understand that an agency works for the girls in order to keep up with canadian law, otherwise if the girls work for him, he would be living off the avials...

This guy like alot of the other wannabes is a joke. He get's a cell phone, put's and ad up on cl for free and in some cases they have amateurish free hosted websites, and the best way to shut them down is to expose them for the frauds they are and to not give them any business.

few and far between are the ads on Craigslist with high quality photos of beautiful women that are real, at least in Ottawa which is what I'm talking about. I've been to Vegas and the ads on there are reflective of what you get but not in our fair city.

I don’t monitor CL, but have seen Asian B&S pictures where they have intentionally reduced the quality of the picture to make it look more amateurish, with a date stamp and all. The girl in the picture is still a 19yo busty hotty, all for cheap.

The B&S operations are also finding amateur pictures that girls post up on the discussion boards and using them in their ads.

I don't know how much CL can really be trusted in the Ottawa market. Apparently someone is systematically flagging otherwise legit ads and having them removed. I only post maybe one or two ads a year on CL, and yet, the last couple I've posted there have been flagged for removal. Even though they fell conservatively within the Terms of Use and were mild compared to some of the ads on there.

Who's doing it? I'm not sure. But I bet an examination of the ads that aren't flagged/removed would prove insightful.
