I recently had some fun w/Ferrari 599 GTB and got PAID for it!
How sweet is that?
Some may remember I have mention a couple times about my buddy who details high end cars for a living. Has his own mobile service, he goes out to clients’ locations.
We have been talking for some time now about me spending some time with him this summer when he gets more busy… to learn what he does… have some fun and even make some $$.
So last Friday I’m on the phone with him and mention I saw on TV the factory where they build the Ferrari 599 GTB … he says to me that on Saturday that’s one of the cars he is detailing and invited me along. Says I can help out a little and he’ll even throw me a few $$. You can bet I was all over that like a wet t-shirt.
OMG! Talk about a nice car. You should hear the roar of that thing! The place where we went he had to move the car from parking place to wash bay.(the owner has a six car garage and built in wash bay) I almost fell over when he started it up. Farkin nice for sure.
I got to help wash and rinse… then sat back and watched as my buddy buffed and polished and he told me about what products he uses and why etc. Then later I get to do the grunt work… clean the wash bay area etc. My buddy throws me a few $$ and buys me dinner (after we went somewhere else and did an Audi R8. That was nice too, but not like the 599.)
Hey… semi-retired is not so bad after all. Thinking I may have a nice summer ahead.
