this is actually for a friend as apartment hunting does not pertain. Once I was asked this question I seriously believed someone here would have a sure way past this issue.
I checked online and everytime a credit check is done on an applicant the credit score is lowered.
This must be painful as most people are applying like some sort of lottery out here in the GTA.
Many applications for the same apartment and with slim chance of selection everyone mulit applies.
So-- my friend asked me how to get past this hurdle without credit score being painfully lowered
by possible future landlords.
I was surprised online to read how much a landlord can legally investigate potential renter.
