The best likeness I could come up with was a Consumer Report Forum...

The only thing was that she was kind of wierded out by the fact that... My "Services" were reviewed...

Well it would be best to link it with something she already is familiar with (you would know better than us on that one).

The concept itself seems pretty obvious. Rating or reviewing inviduals and performances, much like a sports analysis of boxers for instance. You get a height weight description, and discussion on how well or poorly they performed in a given fight. Strengths and weakesses vary.

Could it be possible that your mom didn't want to discuss business with you on Christmas day and just put her mind somewhere else?? The timing seems a little inappropriate despite the fact that she accepts it (not trying to anger you jenn, just offering a potential explanation).

We had a really good chuckle over the idea of it being what I called it.

I just tried to put it into perspective for a corporate mom.

All is all it made for an interesting filler while the cranberries finished coming to a boil.

How "Corporate" is your mom? Tell her is is a Consumer review forum, focusing on the variability of the quality and timliness of personal services, and service providers, with commentary on the delivery and distribution mechanisms associated with the service. That should satisfy her...

oh, and don't forget to mention that there is also the occaisonal flame war.....

But... I am seriously considering a trip to the 'Peg... I need to track a couple people down.

LOL! Now your description while worded slightly differently from mine is very similar. Could it be a tendency for those of us from the 'Peg to know how to word things in this manner? My only issue is that at times I feel like a pompous ass speaking in this mannerism.
