How old are you? Would you date a 19 y/o?

There's this very cute 19 y/o who's in college right now. We have some good chemistry and very interested in asking her out. We flirt and hug each other but I'm not sure if she knows I'm much older than her. There's a 18 year age gap. I don't expect anything out of this but hopefully a good time and memories.

I posted a thread about a mid-life crisis earlier and I don't know if this has to do with it. But I am physically attracted to her regardless.

Go for it!

Good chemistry is too good to pass up.

Most places in the world, anything less than a 20 year age difference is not even a noticeable thing. If she decides to get involved with you romantically, she'll be in awe of everything you share with her since it will all be new. Just don't use it for manipulation and it'll be a great relationship. She'll then go on to learn about herself, grow into her own and not put up with immature, petty shit from other guys closer to her age.

Been there, done that. Youthful beauty is a gem.

Treasure it.

Go for it.
But, if you really care about her don't hide the fact that you're that much her senior. If she likes you as you do her, she shouldn't care either.
The worst thing that could happen is for you not to be heading in the same direction with each other. If that happens, someone will get hurt.

Here's my 2cents :
I believe in life if you want to do something bad enough, you'll do it regardless of costs and what others say to the contrary.

Only you know what risks you're taking and if it's really worth it.

Morally it's one of those things in a grey area and you'll probably regret your decision either way.

Yes (but only if she were an SP)

Heard a discussion on dating younger women and someone came up with the formula....take her age and multiply by 2. If the answer is your age or higher...it is supposedly okay :D
Go for it, have fun....but if it gets serious, watch out for "baby" pressure. You may not want more kids in your life at this time...

I've read that if you take your age, divide by 2 and add 7,you get the minimum age of someone you can/should marry or date.

So if your 40, 27 is the cutoff.

But that's just a guideline, personally, I'd stick to anyone older than your youngest child, if you have any.

All that being said, a hot 19 year old is hard to pass up ;)

She must be very mature or you very immature to have good chemistry with someone half your age.... has she ever seen your favorite movie?

i don't see any problem about her dating older men, i'm worried about men your age being able to put up with a 19 year old. not saying they're all immature but 19yr old chick is still 19yr old. she will be with you but she still has the life of a 19yr old (i'm talking about parties and friends her age). if you can handle it then by all means have fun.

Seconded.

Other than the sex what will the two of you have in common? what will you talk about when you are not fucking? What will her life experiences be for sharing at the next dinner party with your older friends?

I wouldn't even fuck her. I prefer ladies my age.

If you go for it, just make sure to follow Dan Savage's "campsite rule" regarding sexual/romantic relationship with a large age disparity: at the end of the relationship, the elder partner should leave the younger in "better shape than they found them". This includes no diseases, no fertilized eggs, no undue emotional trauma, and whatever sexual education can be provided.
