So long as you're not spending money that should go to support your family, I don't see a problem. So long as you're not fooling yourself into getting involved emotionally - it's also harmless. Some guys just need more sex than is available via a traditional marriage. I know in my case, hugely attracted to my wife, was in love (at least for a long time), but I've always had a problem with long-term fidelity even before I got married (it's a flaw in my character but I deal with it). Using SP's seems like a victimless activity - there's no expenditure of emotion that should be reserved for your wife, and so long as nobody was left wanting because of the money spent - I never saw a problem. Also - I work in a high stress job, and sometimes - mid-day, especially if I had a particularly good morning - I just felt like getting my rocks off. Kind of a caveman adrenaline thing. So 80% of my "hobby" activities were mid-day quickies at a downtown agency or independent. To this day, even through the divorce (divorce has nothing to do with hobbying) - there's been no impact from my hobbying, financially or otherwise.
It's a matter of what your conscience says. If you are good with cheating on your SO, that's your decision. Just be prepared to face the possible consequences of being caught. Some people will think badly of SP's but I think they are just doing a job and it's a patron's choice to see them.

I just want sex... I don't get it as much as I feel I need at home, so I look elsewhere. I had some fun with civilians in a similar position as me, but it was too risky. SPs are a safer bet.
Everyone here is in a open relationship and we all go to swinger events with our wives on weekends.
Maybe it's me but that seems a little odd. Perhaps because I think with SP's there's payment so the possibility of discovery by "following the money" is greater. I guess the other side is a non-professional may contact you or tell others who know you?
It is the talking factor. SPs are not going to contact your wife, and should not be contacting you outside of the times you have given her. An affair can get messy, especially if one starts having feelings the other person does not share.
Likewise. Why get married if you're going to roam? To have kids, I guess? Otherwise, a live-in friend?
