How many dates do you "give" a girl before you cut your losses and move on. Sure, a lot has to do with how hot the girl is.

But consider the money spent on dinners, movies, etc...could have very well be spent on SP's or MP's.
Then again, if you get play your cards right...a larger initial outlay upfront could mean "free" sex for months to come!

Yeah, dates don't come by and large too often...no doubt being a hobbyist often negates the need to court and play all those mind games. Especially when 9 times out of 10, I'm in it just for the booty!
But sometimes for a few months, I act like an adult and challenge myself to see if I can score "legitimately".

Depends on the lady and the relationship. There are still a rare few out there who insist on a serious relationship, and that's what I look for. Any lady who is giving in without establishing a solid emotional relationship first just threw away the respect she was given and became a playtoy with no long-term future.

Respect, trust, and honesty are required for a long-term relationship. I have more respect for an SP who is honest about why she's with me than someone who thinks to "snare" me by offering a playtoy before there is any emotional relationship.

I may try to be a "nice guy", but I am male -- I will play with the offered toys while they're available. I'm sure there are even women out there who deserve and would re-earn the respect they threw away so lightly -- I just haven't met one yet.

I guess it's a bit of both. You find some chemistry but you also aren't 100% sure that she's "the one".
So perhaps you string her along, so to speak, having "fun" along the way. Then at some point you either dump her or grow more attached.

But my issue is that either way, you've dropped a tidy sum on her and you'd hope to get "something" by say date four...max.

I really think it depends on the chemistry between the two people.
