Just wondering how long it will take for all these "I love Barack" bandwagon jumpers to completely turn on him? You know it will happen as Obama sinks into the "politics as always" mindset in Washington and makes his first huge fuck-up in office.

Nope. The diversity of America will re-elect him. He's too smart.

Gyaos.
Since when does smart help in politics? Obama has already been the exception in that regard.

I agree with dj.

Yes, it's a novelty now, the first black president.

Later, when he gets down to business, I've a feeling he's going to be mired in politics and compromise.

Gotta give him credit for running probably the most awesome marketing campaign ever.

He ran a smart campaign with very little substance...now he has to produce...and make good on his campaign promisses, which will be easier said than done...

BUT, if the US get's hit with a terrorist attack in the US on his watch, the love fest will be over...

The honeymoon is over in 6 months.

Remember - he has not had to make any decisions that might upset the Obama lovers.

In due course he will be faced with some tough decisions that I promise not 80% of his worshippers will agree with.

I predict in 6 months he will be around 65% and after a year be hovering around 55%.

There is no way some of his shit is going to fly in congress or the senate.

After that it is game on and back to real world politics where the fucking color of the guy doesn't make the vote.

.........You know I doubt he's worried about that so I'm not gonna think about it much either.

He didn't win by default. I'm just going to sit back and watch the game. Its kinda like watching ..... LeBron James playing basketball in Cleveland. You just sit there and say "How the hell did he do that?"

I've seen the best in athleticism and Obama may be in their class in politics.

For the rest of you folks, well you just never saw the best.
LB. J. isn't even the best pro basketball player that has played his home games in Ohio. Does the name Oscar Robertson mean anything to you?

That said, I wish Barack Obama nothing but the best, I wouldn't give his troubles to a monkey on a rock.:)

That's funny....it seems like it was a "Monkey on a Rock" that just handed those problems to Obama. :D

And yes, here's hoping Obama can do a better job with them.

It's extremely disheartening to see so many people whose candidate did NOT win the election almost wishing for bad things on Obama and, by extension, on our country, just so they can say "I told you so".

If only we could get past this pettiness.

He won , now he has to discorve haw to rule. He has already set teh wall street types against him with the inaugurational speach, those folks have all sorts of campaign funding to congress critters and fairy god senators through the country. As soon as he trys to fix the financial markets the obstructionism will start.

The religious right already has no use for him just because, the same for teh red necks ( small group but noisy)

PArts of the electorate that voted for him are already pissed because of his cabinet choices.

These are just the things that have happened before he got power. Now he has to make decisions and he won't keep every happy with any one decision, likely he won't keep many happy with any one decision.

I really do wish he man well and hope his hair is very well attached because I expect he will be pulling at it a whole lot.
