I've been without cable for my tv for almost 2 years now, and don't miss it one friggin bit. Much less wasted time in front of the tube, which means more time for my other favourite ways to spend my time...

I find T.V. to adictive so would never get anything besides rabbit ears for fear of never getting anything else done

I have digital cable and i find that i'm watching less and less TV. I spend more time surfing the net, playing FPS games or here on TERB. Theres just too many damm "reality" shows and not enough good shows like NOVA or national geographic channels. What, i'm a geek. ;)

Is there a Canadian version of Tevo that's available in the US? I was in New York a couple of weeks back and the people I was visiting swear by their Tevo and to my knowledge there isn't anything like it in Canada. I have "extended" Cable and am thinking about upgrading but not sure which way to go.

Digital Cable...

I don't watch half as much TV as I use to but still for me Digital Cable is the only way to go. At least when I do watch it I know I will have plenty of choice. Also I like the TV guide feature. I believe also you must have the digital box to get movies on demand. Last but not least the $99. package includes high speed internet. All in all a good deal I think.

Sometimes I just listen to the alien radio transmissions I receive through the fillings in my teeth.

A tinfoil hat works too...with the added bonus of no alien mind control

HD rocks!

Does anyone have HDTV connection from rogers.com and is it really only $14.95+1.99 above regular rogers cable $23.99+1.95 for PVR, this is what the rogers girl told me, yesterday nite...

I get the extended cable package but am thinking of upgrading to digital HD. I don't like the price much but there don't seem to be many alternatives out there.

That makes two of us. And the funny thing is I only watch about 2 hrs. a week. Don't miss it at all.

Cheers
