How do you feel when you see a poor loser with your ex wife?

Between a rock and a hard place
Just the other day I saw my ex wife. The type of woman I'll never go near again. Then I see her in a close bond with this guy. Doesn't appear to be a loser but must have been, poor guy. Not ugly or dumb looking in any way. I was so overjoyed, but managed to restrain myself from running up and warning him. I immediately assumed he was rich, cause he'd have to be to make her happy. But I saw them get into his car, which was very below-average-looking and old. As he drove off, I could see the happiness in his face as they continued to talk. Fuck! Why didn't I warn him?

Days later, I just can't get this off my mind. So guys, how do you feel when you see a total loser with the girl of your bad dreams? ;)

Going through that right now. Though I really want to warn him, it is just not my place to do so. I mean, I did love her at one point in time, so she is not totally evil. However...


I'll buy him a beer in six months after the honeymoon is over.:p

Interesting, I've never given this much thought before now.

I would hope that she's changed - although without psychological counseling or Divine intervention - I don't believe that that will happen. On some level I still care about her, and would hope that she finds happiness. Still she did a number on me.

two threads asking essentially the same question. Either its a duplicate handle or there is some other forum that asked it, and these guys are duplicating it?? Odd that the same question gets asked twice - one is ex-wife the other is "girl of your dreams." Curious, anyhow.

Well... I don't have an ex-wife... but I have a good story about an ex-gf...

I went out with my high school sweetheart for 6 years... she dumped me because she wanted to get married, and I wasn't ready yet, and she was getting impatient... I was still only 23 and was still in "career building" mode. So anyway, she dumps me and cleans all her stuff out of my apartment etc... I do the typical guy BS, you know, I want you back, yada yada yada... she doesn't go for it unless there's a "promise" attached and I eventually get over it...

I had fun bein a single guy for a couple years until I met Mrs CG- you guys know that story already... but about a yr later Mrs. CG and I are at a party at a long time friend's place and I see a guy I hadn't seen since grade 7... We were best friends back in jr highschool, but my parents moved the family to another part of town, and I went to a different school and I lost touch with my friends there. So anyway, I go up to this guy and we start yakking for about an hour, catching up etc... so then I finally ask the question... how do you know "so & so" (The guy's house the party is at...) He says, oh I'm here with my wife. Really who's your wife. He motions to a blond girl in the other room and I look over- it was my Ex-GF! Oh, I say- and mention her name... Buddy says oh you know her... yes, we went out for 6 years! He finally clues in that I am the guy his ex was with for so many years! (And will forever be compared to LOL!)

The best part, was... guess who the ex-GF was talking with (amongst a few other girls...) Yep, Mrs. CG! So later in the evening, I clue in Mrs. CG the whole story (she had never met the Ex-GF either) and she starts hamming it up bigtime! Grabbing me, kissing me all the time, feeding me the cherry out of her drink... etc. With the ex-GF looking on the whole time! The next morning, the phone rang at about 5:00 am.... there was a recognizable female voice on the other end... she said 4 words... "Your a real dick!" and hung up the phone.

I don't know what I did... since SHE dumped me, and since it was Mrs. CG that was hamming it up all night... but I don't think she appreciated it! LOL! :rolleyes:

i don't have an ex wife either but i would assume it would depend on how much allimoney you are paying......
