How do you edit / delete older posts?

I noticed that the edit option only seems to be available on very recent posts I've made but doesn't seem to be enabled for posts that are even a month old. How do I edit or delete older posts?

You could try a PM to the Mods addressed via FredZed, but the short answer is: You don't.

you can only edit or delete a post/thread for 24 hrs
after that you have to request someone on the admin side to..
just send them a PM with the one you want deleted
theyre pretty good at removing them

So sending a PM to FredZed is still the best way to reach admin?!

I wonder if they will also edit a post in addition to simply deleting it?
