How do I create an Instagram account?

Okay I wanted to create an instagram account but when I go to www.instagram.com there is a button to log in but no button to create a new account. How the heck do I create an instagram account?

Apparently I can't create an instagram account from a computer or a laptop? Is this true? I have been trying to create one with my tablet but it has been giving me all sorts of headaches.

yeah the website is weird. it doesn't let you access a bunch of things.

and when you try to save a picture. you get this copyright image picture instead.

Yeah but I can't download the app with a desktop or a laptop apparently. Apparently it needs to be done with a phone or tablet. I have tried to do it with my tablet but its been giving me all kinds of headaches so that Is why I am trying to figure out if I can create an instagram account with my laptop or desktop.

Many apps now are mobile-only (Snapchat) or mostly mobile (Instagram). Try https://help.instagram.com/

Trying to create an instagram account on my ipad. I tried to download the instagram app but for some reason it is asking me to verify my payment information. I don't understand - isn't instagram free? Why the heck is it asking me to verify my payment information?

It is free, it just wants to save your payment information to make it easier for you to buy something from the App store in the future.
