In times like this when a team like Silverman Helps is so important for the right of the public when gas companies, insurance companies , banks and government are screwing the public.Who is going to help the little people and those who can't hire a lawyer to fight for them. He helped my wife and I get our house after Tarrion Home Warranty was going to stop a builder from finishing at the last stages of building after 3 year of waiting. How many people has he helped it's bothering me that nothing can be done.

Silverman was fired 'cause Pat Foran (CTV consumer guy pussy) was insanely jealous of him because he had balls between his legs and he doesn't.

He cried like a bitch to CTV brass to have him canned.

This is factual. I'm a somebody in CTVglobemedia.

Pat Foran just regurgitates stories from ConsumerReports Magazine.

I hate him but there's nothing I can do. He has some dirt on me.

Just forward your views KooKoo to www.ctvglobemedia.com.

I would appreciate the ammunition to I need to fire Forans ass.

As much as Silverman is liked and he has done a great job over the years, get over it and move on. Afterall he is 74 I believe, time to slow down and put your feet up. Let some younger person take on that role and feed his family, don't know who, but I'm sure there are many who can fit those shoes.

Hell, let's hire him as our own TERB "watchdog". He'll respond to SP/MP reviews on this board, go in and say things like "Hey - you're supposed to give this guy an hour, but he only got 45 minutes!" Or he could uncover B&S scams, or even SP's and MPA's that don't provide the level of service advertised. He'll clean-up this industry lickety-split.

First of all, I'd find out if he wants help or not. As MC said up there: maybe it's time he hung up his spurs?

I personally would like to see someone step up and take on a segment or show in the same vein. I mean, it wouldn't be some stupid reality show like Tori and Justin's boarding house...I mean seriously, this type of show could do some good! The problem I see it though is corporate TV doesn't want to piss on anyone for fear of repercussions. An indenpendant like CITYTV was was the only real venue for someone to do what Silverman did. I mean, he wasn't just about what was legal, he was about what was right......

Who cares...? It is a stupid concept for a TV show anyways. There will not be any tag-days for him.

From the article:

"Prior to last Wednesday, Silverman was easing into retirement with his contract ending Aug. 31 -- one year shy of his 20th year doing Silverman Helps."

It sounds like he was packing it in shortly anyways. He's earned his retirement, although he deserved to be treated better. You have to like someone who fights for the underdogs.

Seriously though, we should hire him for this board. Think of the good that he could do! :)
