I just heard on Steve Paikin, the Nobel Prize winner, the Godfather of AI say that AI could wipe us out when it gets way smarter than us.... introduce a virus for a killing plague or whatever. He's from U of T and gave half of his prize money to a project for clean drinking water on Ontario's reservations.
