One year after climbing 4% to a record-high score of 78 on ACSI’s 0 to 100-point scale, customer satisfaction with personal computers flattens out. The industry itself is in a state of rapid change, with technology advances accelerating amid shifts in consumer preference. As the demand for traditional desktop PCs weakens, the tablet computer market is skyrocketing—led by Apple’s iPad. It gave the iPhone a score of 838, versus HTC's handsets in second place with 801 and an industry average of 788. Sammy got a disappointing 777, but we guess it might have fared better if the Galaxy S II had been quicker to cross the Atlantic. Hapless RIM got shunted into fifth place, having come second in 2010. They like it because Apple is great at 'marketing' it and nothing more. Samsung is making GREATER stuff nowdays.
Apple is the best at marketing, but be fair, they make good products.
I believe the samsung products are superior, but that's personal preference.
Losing the iPhone prototype was pretty slick.
Samsung products aren't too shabby, that's for sure.
Not my favorite company, but, they do put out some nice products.
