Hotels in Toronto and surrounding areas that accept cash deposits

I'm stuck without a credit card and really don't wanna have to turn to motels. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Open a bank account with TD or Royal, and you can get whats known as a Virtual Visa. It works with online retailers to purchase items you'd need a credit card for.

All hotels need a valid piece of government ID and a credit card at the time of check in. Some do accept cash deposits instead of a credit card.
Hyatt Regency on King St W accepts cash deposits.

Eaton Chelsea has a $250 cash deposit and doesn't have key card elevators like a lot do downtown
