Has it ever struck you as odd that the common arrangement in hotel bedrooms is two queen size beds.
So, here are two couples, travelling together. They roll up to the front desk, and ask to be given two queen-size beds, one for each couple. But they don't want separate rooms - they wanna share the same room.
My guess is the number of times that request has been made, in the whole history of the world, can be counted on one hand.
And yet, the norm for hotel rooms is to have two queen-size beds.
So, at the hoteliers annual conference, they all vote to continue for one more year with the two-queens per room arrangement, because that is the best . . . what?
