Looking for more options to renew home auto insurance. I have the feeling I am paying to much, so maybe there is a chance to find a better option.

Which broker do you recommend or maybe what is your advice to find a good broker.

You could try going direct. Maybe try CAA(non profit). Or maybe Belair Direct or The Personal.

When I retired I inquired about a discount since I wouldn't be driving to work anymore.
My agent asked if it was ok to run a credit check. I said sure.
She called me back and said since I have a good credit rating and have been living in the same house for many years I was entitled to a discount of about $500. I was also claim free, except for hitting a deer about 7 years ago. Car was repairable.
I said sign me up!
Never had an insurance company perform a credit check before.

GTA & Thereabouts...
I've been with State Farm/Certas/Desjardins for three decades... Threads like this make me want to explore my options. I'm a TD and CAA customer (for three decades) as well.
