Hobbying in Seoul, South Korea

!2 suggestions:
1) Itaewon - if you go to Itaewon Street, one block behind the main
road ( opposite Hamilton Hotel) is Hooker Hill - a road that climbs up
the hill, loaded with bars. These cater to foreigners. They try to push
expensive drinks; but you can get a BJ for about $100-150, and FS
for a little more. You may be lucky and pick up a free lancer.
The higher up the hill you, the more service you get.
2) Take a cab to " Miara Texas". This is a large brothel area,
about a 30 minute cab ride from the main tourist areas.
You walk in through a tarp cover into a mze of streets - all are
windowfront shops with 5-20 girls sitting in every window,
most of the girls wearing wedding gowns. Most of them will not
service foreigners ( probably about 20% do, 80% do not).
You will have no problem recognizing which is which - the mamasans
standing outside will either invite you in; or else give you a cold stare.
Cost is usually abot 80-90,000 Won ( $110 CAD) for a basic
20-30 minute BBBJ and missionary FS.
Amazing area to walk around and window shop!

Like montrealvisitor mentioned, you have girls that will cater to foreigners and girls that won't. Shouldn't be too difficult to find the girls that do, they are usually in the areas that the American soldiers hang out. But similar to Japan, you'll find the high end girls do not cater to foreigners unless you know someone. The ones that do cater to foreigners tend to be on the lower end scale, used to drunken soldiers and the like.

For the past few months there has been a big clampdown on working girls in Korea. Take a look at the wsg site for details but things have really slowed down.
Be very careful as Westerners are favored targe of all sorts of scams and the police don't reaaly care unless you are bleeding badly.

I haven't logged onto TERB for several months so I hope you haven't already taken the advice in some of the previous posts. Heed luvumbare's advice and visit WSG. It may save you from some frustration at a minimum, or worse some embarassing moments with the local police, who BTW probably aren't going to beat up a foreigner for just hobbying.
Compared to Toronto, you are in for a big disappointment in Korea unless you have a friend who is Korean or you study the WSG very carefully. For quality service at a safe Anma massage parlor (bathing+massage+FS), you'll probably have to shell out $100-200USD but it's actually worth it. I would stick to the high class places around Kangnam because they also tend to be foreigner friendly. If you stay in Korea long enough, you can try some of the more economical places but you might be disappointed compared to Toronto.
If you need help finding a location in Kangnam, talk to the taxi driver about how Korean girls are generally the prettiest in the world (which may actually be true overall) or mention Anma and then the driver may volunteer to help you. Or you can flat out ask. I've had drivers volunteer to help me even when I just want to go to the grocery store. The black taxis at the hotels are your best bet.
For a foreigner, Seoul isn't a cheap place to be. It's more developed and richer than Toronto IMHO. Getting close in quality to Japan's cities.
I haven't visited Toronto for awhile but from what I just read, it still sounds like the best place in the world for hobbying, mostly due to the safety and sheer variety.
