Plus multi-million dollar sponsorships from Dole, Maui Pineapple Company, etc...Did you calculate the money he will make on the merchandise licensing on the Pineapple pen, and clothing line.
Justin Bieber tweeted it out to all of his lemmings and said "it was his favourite video on the internet". Females 6 to 66 spent the next month watching it over and over because they are idiots like the original tweeter.........
Yeah, the "original tweeter" is such an"idiot"!
Worth $200 million dollars and has his pick of tens of thousands of the hottest girls on the planet.
Too bad he wasn't as smart as you and I and was posting on TERB like us.

Yeah, It makes puke that I was just suckered in to adding to the idiots wealth."Ho does shit like this go viral?"
Could it be because people post it on internet forums?
It goes viral because people like you view it and then repost it. Just looking at it makes me not want to click and listen. I couldn't stand that Korean guy a few years ago so I'm sure this is just about the same kind of crap.
154 Million views, seriously!!!
Here are some articles on how this guy got to be so rich and famous overnight:

"A simple calculation from YouTube Money Calculator estimates ad revenues from this one video to be $546,270 and counting! There are also hundreds of covers also collecting a nice chunk of change."
That's correct. How does the comedian make money if he posts it for free on You Tube - or does YT pay YOU a % if your video goes viral?
Thank you. Apparently, his song was also on the top billboard charts. If he has rights to it, he would make money from air play, license fees and straight download purchases. [He's a comedian and I guess he has an agent and/or a good entertainment lawyer].
That's correct.
If YT sees that a particular video is getting tons of traffic, they contact the poster in order to obtain permission to advertise on his post.
Advertisers happily dish out in order to have millions of eyeballs watching their add while the original poster gets a % of the add money.
