HIV/AIDS testing for SP's

I am just curious how often, on average, SP's get tested for HIV/AIDS, or for that matter other STD's. Given that in Canada, and more specifically Toronto, this is an unregulated business, I would like to know is there some kind of standard that is used by the girls, or by the escort agencies that they work for.

A few of the ladies I've seen and got to know well enough to ask, have told me they get tested at least every 6 months.

I bet the ladies get tested more frequently than the guys that use the ladies' services

And there are some ladies and guys who don't even get tested and don't even care. Probably think they have something or know they have something yet stick around not caring who they infect. It's been done before. Why else would some Sp's offer full service with no condoms and why else would some guys be willing to stick it in an escort/hooker/sex worker without using one?
