Historic Whore Houses in Toronto

I just learned that there's walking tours of all the old historic brothels in Toronto! Apparently I just missed the Summer season, so I made my own...

Definitely want to do the actual tour next year. In the meantime, do you guys know anymore of the history that were Toronto's Brothels like 100 years ago? Thanks!! (Not much coming up on Goggle..)

brothels were quite common, usually a bar, there is one in my neighborhood beside the old silent movie theatre which still stands as a coffee shop. The women were immigrants and women needing money and the exploited.

Today we have massage parlours doing the same thing.

There's a smallish plaza in Brampton that had at least 4 massage parlours (maybe still does). The ugly and utilitarian structure is unlikely to be around in a few decades so I guess "important" history will be lost.

$80 per adult for historic brothels that's cheap, this month I just spent $1600 touring the contemporary brothels on the west side of Toronto, all 6 female tour guides were very friendly, and showed me everything.
