High demand?

Is it just me, or have you also been having a hard time making bookings lately? There are just as many ads as ever on BP but I find many girls do not even bother to reply, and some have told me that things are very busy.

So what's going on here, I thought Joy Smith and Peter MacKay promised to wipe out the hobby?

No I think you got it right. It's high demand - for reliable SPs & MAs. And lately I found bp is flooded with ads posted for free from a lot of fakes. So hard to tell or allot of work to find out which ones are the reliable ones, and which aren't.

I've noticed the same thing lately Jugo. Seems the reliable women are either not responding or just send a quick note and never get back to you. I have a couple of regulars, but do like to meet new sp's. Just have to keep trying!

Lol it used to drive me insane but you get used to it and learn to manage/multi task at a faster pace although sometimes efficiency goes out the window and I would assume that is when clients get pissed off as it is hard to get back to everyone on time and sometimes not at all.. I honestly don't believe the hardworking S.P's or M.A's are trying to avoid customers or be disrespectful.. It's just sometimes hectic managing so many things at once.. Hope this helps shed some light from the other side.

Don't laugh, I would gladly pay an agency a percentage for every appointment they would book through phone calls, or texts. I would gladly post the agencies number on my website and direct clients to call them for last minute appointments. That's only if I can be independent outside of them taking my calls.

I have a good amount of regulars, so I have decided to remove my phone number from my website last spring. It has been a good decision for me. I waste less time as my auto-reply filters out any unwanted emails. However, somehow, sometimes, I feel like I'm missing out. I do answer my phone to regulars, but there's many times where I'm busy and can't take the call/text. By then it's too late to call/text back.

When I had my number online and I took calls/texts, I'd say that about 75% were time wasters and only about 25% were really interested. I could be on the phone all day, as another thread here talks about answering questions my website, or pictures can explain. So I'm happy talking to clients via email, but I can't help but get the feeling of the "rat race" on the phone. Me, personally, I find that emails are more thoughtful/personal.

Back to the topic at hand. Yes, we get busy and we can't always take calls and we miss texts. A lot of reputable girls book appointments in advance and can be reached by email if the calls or texts have been missed.

Wow that's a crazy amount of traffic. Gives me a new appreciation for some of the stuff our lovely providers have to deal with especially if 75% are time wasters.

75% of non buyers that's normal for any business; actually that's very good for some businesses. I have a friend who works in a furniture store and he "wastes" his time with more than 75% of the clients who can't make up their minds. So why would it be different for SPs?
But like Peachy mentioned it, some girls-especially those who are not very well organized- should hire an agent to take the calls/texts and give them a cut.
