Here's a guy who should be a candidate for court-ordered castration

The TL;DR version:

- 56-year-old man, Prakash Lekhraj, convicted of raping a teenager in BC.
- He films the assault, brags about it online, says, "she took it like a champ."
- This piece of shit then tells court "‘he never needs to seek the consent of a female to have sexual relations with her"
- He already has a criminal record that includes living off the avails of prostitution
- At sentencing, he is handed a term of three years and three months

3 years and 3 months is a slap on the wrist...

Exactly. The fact he told court it's his right to assault women tells you he hasn't learned a thing because he doesn't think there's anything to learn.

For the sake of comparison, a guy I was friends with growing up (haven't seen him in nearly 30 years) did a 6-year term for robbing two banks with a note on a piece of paper saying he had a bomb, which he didn't have. He has no other criminal record, just those two bank robberies. I'm not defending what he did, and I'm sure there was some emotional trauma the bank cashiers might have gone through, but nothing like what a rapist does to their victim. Yet the guy I knew did twice as much time as an unrepentant rapist gets.

The three year sentence for rape is way too low. However, that's the way the law is written. Unfortunately, property crime, like robbing a bank, tends to get a stricter sentence than sexual assault. That is fucked up.

This! People complain all the time that the justice system is "hug a thug" but that's not true. It's the LEGAL SYSTEM that's fucked up; the judges are at the mercy of the legal system.

Agree with the others. It’s not just that he committed the horrible crime of raping a teenager, he also 1) filmed it 2) posted the video 3) bragged about it and 4) obviously has no remorse and sees nothing wrong with what he did. IMO guys like this should get the max sentence.

Agree with every comment - here - but as much as I won't him to feel the effects of the death penalty, I would rather see him suffer with a slow castration and a lifelong prison sentence where he is force to take is his own life. This was awful - 3 years is FKN joke.

Here's a punishment that would probably be the best... open season to punch him anywhere anytime and post his face in public... like anybody can just knock him out and no repercussion whatsoever...

If he filmed it can't he also be charged with possession of child porn?
"On the same day her ruling came down, Gordon sentenced Lekhraj to three years for the sexual assault and three months for the child pornography charge, to be served consecutively, according to the B.C. prosecution service.

He’s also under a 10-year firearms ban and will be listed on the national sex offender registry for 20 years.

As reported by BurnabyNow.com, the Crown was seeking a sentence in the range of four to five years for the 56-year-old who also goes by Paul Lekhraj and has a criminal record that includes a conviction for living off the avails of prostitution in 1995."

Just be nice and hope he lands in general population. Then he can be on his knees and enjoy everyone taking a piece of 'grandpa' ass.
