picked up a 7.2MP Cybershot at an auction of lost and found items.
perfect working condition.

only problem is i do not have a dock (for data transfer or charging)

any ideas?

(borrowed a neighbour's dock to ensure it was working well...before you ask...lol)

and if anyone knows a rather 'plump' redhead who's into renaissance fairs and self-portraits, please don't tell her i bought the camera she lost for $20...LOL

I have a Cybershot - it just uses a USB cable for transfer. There is a battery charger for it - is that what you are looking for? Sonystyle.ca or any Sony store.

I have one

Mine is a usb cord for transfer and it has a battery that you can recharge. That was the main selling point for me.

Blacks has both along with the cams in their stores.

No he said he needs a dock. Some earlier models of Cybershots had a dock that you had to hook the camera up to in order to charge and transfer pictures. The USB cable plugs into the dock.

precisely...
thanks to all for the suggestions so far, but this model is a dock-only beast when it comes to charging it seems...

i'm not worried about image transfer as my multi-card reader works just fine when i remove the card from the cam...

less convenient, but fully functional...

does anyone know if sony sells an external battery charger?
