In a van down by the river
Being a Yankee from the deep south I don't know shit about ice fishing.
My son is bugging me that he wants to go. Could any of you guys or gals help me out with a contact?

I live in Ottawa so something close by would be great. Something where I can rent a hut and the necessary equipment, preferably with somebody that can give me a crash course in ice fishing.
I like fishing and I know how, but only when the water is liquid...LOL
Thanks

Drill a hole on the ice and then stick your reel in there with some bait on the end of the hook.

Great pasttime ice fishing. Tons of fun if you get together with the right people on the right day.

There is a part of Kempenfelt Bay(Barrie)where a guy rents out huts and even brings you to your site.Minet's Point is the spot and it is not a far drive from T.O.

Strange sport. Hard to believe anyone hates their wife enough to go sit on a frozen lake for he whole day. Keys to ice fishing, put the beer somewhere it won't freeze. Make sure the tip of your dick doesn't come in contact with the ice or you may have a serious problem.
