Help for LA-USA

Eros-guide has some good choices,(visiting section) but beware of the ever present B&S in the US! I've used miami companions before and have been pleased for the most part..but I am also in the same perdicament, I'm stuck here in the US for the next 6 months on business....and miss my TO girls! can't wait to get back! 5 months 13 days 12 hours 34 mins 48 secs..not that I'm counting! 
I would advise against any hobbying in the US. LE is very strict and increasingly more so.
LAPD has a very good vice squad and they're good at their jobs. Whatever agencies in LA (i.e. Heidi Fleiss) have been shut down. The only choices left are pretty much indies (overpriced, very tight screening, sometimes B&S) and SWs on Hollywood Blvd who don't care anyway, but you could end up like Hugh Grant!
LA has some very good strip clubs, but that's all I would do. Otherwise, as painful as it is, wait until you get back to Canada.

As has been previously communicated from mongers from across the USA, save your $$ for Vancouver, TO, Montreal et. al.. Total B&S, ego's, and hauty attitudes permeate most major cities. Go to the strip clubs in the City of Industry, you will be safer and better off.
