However, in their defense, they did put out another statement (along with the millions of others that they do, to calm people the fuck down)
"Apple takes precautions to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction...
...Apple online services such as the Apple Online Store and iTunes Store use Secure Sockets Layer encryption on all Web pages where personal information is collected."
So, everyone calm the fuck down, Apple says their very secure and are also on top of other issues they're having with their crashing iOS, their apps drama, etc, etc..
