Just curious as to how far we've come in terms of mixed relationships in Toronto in 2008.

I'm guessing most have dated at least once within their own ethnicity. Some perhaps only do so. Others perhaps only date outside their ethnicity.

Interested given how diverse Toronto is and how many kids of mixed ethnicity I'm seeing today. I think it's a great model for other countries to follow. Of course I have no illusions that the world will ever be as 'one' given the religious differences abound.

BTW,...SP's and MPA's do not count! :)

Do you really mean ethnicity or are you in fact eluding to race?

My ex-wife was a Great Russian ethnically, she was different from my four centuries of New World admixture (English, Welsh, German, Dutch, Scots, French. . .) - however we are both Caucasian.

I've never in my life dated outside my race.

Women not of my race are not attractive to me.

I've dated different races but never dated my own. For some reason, girls of my own race don't like me in that kinda way. Weird... or I'm weird. Go figure.

I've never dated someone of my ethnicity. As for race, in the past five years, I've dated more outside than inside mine.

Why is it a great model for other countries to follow?

It's been good to know ya
I wanna try one exactly my own mix Irish, German, Scottish mix. I probably have but nobody told me there were exactly my mix. The problem with me as for dating I have a liking for dark hair and brown eyes. I also do not want any red haired children unless it is a girl. :p

I think that is what attracted me, was the cultures. I have dated white guys as well. I think if you took a poll of all the races, white guys would work out equally with each race I have dated, but if you lump them all against dating white guys, I would say 80% were of a different ethnicity.
lol. I don't think "white guys" is considered a race.

Actually "white guys" crosses a lot of nationalities, different ideals and cultures.
