+1 never MA...now I would also research the airline safety record and if there is any war path or conflict zones they fly over during my route/destination.
Good luck with that. Make sure you check the weather, traffic delays, and be sure to call the airline and find out what their alternate is to verify that route too.

At the end of the day, no matter who you fly with, if you're anywhere near a warzone, you have no way to know that you won't be passing over it. There are always things that come up and sometimes it can't be avoided.

I'd fly with MH. After two incidents this year, you just know they are super freaked out to have a third incident and are probably more careful then any other airline. And with a lot of people scared of flying with MH, prices might be better too.

As far as I'm concerned, MH 370 could've been a whole number of issues, so I won't place any blame until a cause is figured out. MH is blameless for the time being.

MH 17 was just unlucky. Lots of airlines flew through that route, they got shot down. I honestly think all the other airlines breathe a sigh of relief knowing it could've been them. Not MH's fault.

No worries PLUS plane disaster is a good way to die!!! 9/10 times so catastrophic on the human body it is instant death. Mn17 the explosive decompression would have knocked them out instantly. I examined some of the bodies very carefully & saw evidence of explosive decompression that would have not only rendered immediate unconsciousness but also basically immediate death.

In 2008 there were 93,000 flights per day worldwide, what are your chances, slim.

Or you could speculate that all the GOOD employees at MH have seen the writing on the wall and are applying for and getting new jobs elsewhere leaving MH and your life in the hands of the monkeys who can't find other work.

If I was an MH employee I would know that plummeting ridership and crashing stock isn't good for my career and I would get out and land a new job while they are still plentiful before everybody else is laid off and queuing for work.
