Hopefully some computer experts can help.
I want to make an image of my hard drive. I'm going to use drive snapshot(it's free) I have 1- 200 Gig drive partioned as 100 gig and 100 gig. I've got 20 Gig of free space on 1 partion and 33 Gig of free space on the other.

How much free space will I need on my drive, to be able to save the image?

Is the image I save going to be compressed? to a much smaller size?

Sorry, if some of these are dumb questions. I 've never done this before.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank-you:)

You will not have enough space (80GB Data one partition 67GB Data other partition)plus it will be very slow (reading and writing to same drive) suggest you get a USB drive and image to it (look at BART's PE as a boot disk and add in your imaging software there)
