Gotta get the pole out before I forget. My first festivus as an orphan so I guess there won't be any airing of grievances and any feats of strength will be solo work.

That's because the Jerry character is normal/boring so to speak. The show works because of the crazy characters around him, that's the formula for a hit comedy.

Terrible actor and bland. His Coffee in Cars shows highlighted some of his unworldliness.
