Hello!

I will be moving to Halifax in the spring and I am curious of places to work for?

Anyone have experience with any agencies or is it strictly independent? If independent, where do you guys look to find ads?

Well there's good news and bad news. The good news is that if you're an SP (which I don't think is the case) "there is gold in them thar hills." If as I suspect you're a fellow male TERBite, the good news is that Nova Scotia is a beautiful Province, the people are great, and Halifax is a nice and very livable city. The bad news is that pretty much every SP worthy of the title has moved to Toronto, Edmonton or Vancouver. There are both Agencies and Independents and I’ll admit it has been a number of years but the quality level was low.

Actually, I am a SP. Please don't let my handle fool you. Atherton Wing is a notorious "client" from the television show Firefly. Just because I like science fiction does not mean that I am a guy...

Could you suggest some agencies to me either through pm or the lounge - it would be greatly appreciated.

Try contacting Park Avenue. They are one of the most reputable agencies in the city - I use them on a regular basis.
