All joking aside, isn't Porsche owned by VW, as well as Bentley, Lambo, Bugatti and Audi?
So in theory it is a VW, much like a Rolls could be considered a Beemer and a Shaguar is a Tata moters car [with similar reliability]

Reminds me of the old joke about the bumper stickers that said, "my other car is a Rolls Royce". Guy was pissed off when he saw a Rolls Royce with a bumper sticker saying "my other car is a Rolls Royce"
