Chrome is probably the fastest browser of all right now.

Started using Google Chrome on a trial basis yesterday. (I'm a long time FireFox user.)
It is better, oh so much better. I'd have to say the only complaint I have with it is that most people don't bother to learn how powerful it really is and what it can really do because there are so many advanced features of this browser (Chrome) that are hidden or not easy to come across on your own. Lots of You Tube videos through to teach you the more advanced features (beyond just surfing in one window).

I also started using Chrome. I found Firefox would get really chuggy with multiple tabs open. Chrome is nice with any droid phone cause it automatically has the moblie bookmarks at home if you are logged in to your google account.

Congratulations?

I use both chrome and firefox. I find chrome faster but use firefox because of an add-ons that gives you control over javascript permissions, especially on suspicious sites (chrome may have something similar but I haven't really looked). I also don't surf chrome while logged into google (except on my phone) because I have concerns over exactly how much info google is collecting and what it is being used for.

I've been using chrome for a while, the only thing I didn't like that scrolling of the favorites was slow when you have a large amount. Anyhow I downloaded the plugin bookmark manager and the google adblock and I'm grooving.

I only use Firefox for browsing porn and Terb. LOL. For everything else, I use Chrome. When you hook up your Google Account with Chrome, you can take advantage of the Sync option. You can sync Apps, Extensions, Settings, Bookmarks, Passwords, etc. I do that because I use chrome at home and at work so I want my chrome setting to be exactly the same. If you left a tab open at home, you can open the same tab when you open your Chrome at work and vice versa. You can see any tabs open on all devices even on your Chrome on your Android phone. If you have an Android phone, it's best to get the Chrome To Phone, it's really helpful especially sending Google Maps directions straight to your phone! If you buy a new computer, you just enter your Google Account and BAM! All your settings, bookmarks, plugins, themes are automatically installed.

Cheers.

Change is good.
I always had 3 or 4 browsers on all my PCs just to see what others are like.
Some folks still only use IE! Chrome is different but then they all seem different if you have only used the same one for years. After using Chrome awhile you adjust and will notice how much faster it is than FF....;)

I started using Chrome in desperation because FF was so slow in TERB. After 3 days I noticed a major improvement but it could also be because maybe Fred upgraded the service.

Something weird happened to me the other day. I was surfing on explorer, via regular google. Went to terb. Cleared my history etc. Next time I went on the computer I noticed that Chrome had installed a direct link to terb on my desktop! I did not ask for this! Anyone know how this could happen?
Thankfully my wife and I have seperate desktops...but still....very very bad!

i noticed that new feature on ff as well. when i open a new tab it has the 9 most visited websites in little boxes available to me at a click. i find it handy and don't much care about terb being on it. my girl knows i post here and has my pw to check on me at anytime if she ever gets suspicious. i can see how that option would be upsetting though.

the hobby needs more capitalism
Chrome is excellent.

My preference is Safari but I've switched to Chrome. It doesn't choke when I have 100+ tabs running.
