If you enter in a downtown codo for SP/MP appointment and on security desk you face someone whom you know then what could be good excuses or story you can make to avoid embarrasment...

Say in a clear voice "I'm here to see a friend."

I don't get it. You put in a code and the SP opens the door? Then how does the guy know who you're there to see?

Or do you have to tell the guard who you're visiting? Then the SP should have given you the right thing to say.

Or you see the guy, recognize him, and do a 180, call it off and never go back.

The same thing that one would usually do: "Hello, good to see you, I didn't know that you worked here . . . . . " then you head off to your appointment.

Take a binder or leather zipperred thing that holds documents - you are there to see a client, to go over somethng. Or going to look at a XXXXX thing tht you would like to maybe buy.

The last thing I would do is ask to buzz me up to the SP's room. There are any number of reasons for you to be there. Tell them you are meeting a business associate but you aren't familiar with this area and came in for directions.

Nice Dens
"I came for a blowjob and to get laid, is she a YMMV type of girl? How would you rate her face? Does she do CIM?" That should quieten his inquieries down.

I generally make a point of talking or texting on my phone while I'm going through the lobby areas, so that I am really just too busy for anybody to engage me in conversation.

That's a not bad idea.

"Nice to see you again. I heard you might be working today. I just loved your last commercial. Are you between auditions?"

What're you doing here?

I'm here to check out/pick up something from Craiglist - vintage camera lens/autographed DVD/lampstand/etc
This looks most suitable reason which could cover many aspects and could save you ....

if person on desk/security desk know you then you can't avoid him after seeing each other. He will see you anyway in some camera while you are walking....so it is better to stop by, say hi and tell him you are here to see craiglist item.

It's better to dodge it at the time, or be vague and in a hurry, and give a more complete "answer" later.

I mean, how do you answer, "Oh, which unit?"

Often the coverup is worse than the lie. Pretend to be busy, buy time, and tell him next time you see him that you don't remember which unit it was (if he bothers to ask at the later date). If he is actually WORKING THE DESK odds are he can see which unit buzzed you in anyway, on his display.

Much more likely is that you run into someone you know who happens to live in the building, especially if it's a nicer condo building it becomes more and more likely that you will eventually run into an acquaintance. In that case you don't have to worry that they know who buzzed you.

1. I do not know anyone that works hotel or condo reception/security, so it's not an
issue.

2. It would not be an issue with reception/security because I would have the "code
word" for security or the room number and wander in like I've been there many times,
which I probably have.

3. The only people that I would run into would be another SP or hobbiest. That's
happened a few times. LOL
