Maybe something seemed "missing" and they thought getting married would solve it ?

He seemed "different" but I thought he was just playing the role/part, guess it wasn't all acting after all. Funny I have my doubts about some guys but I never thought of him being gay, yeah now looking back but again I thought it was part of the show.

This is one area I do agree with the pope, its just not right...the church can buzz off when it comes to birth control, etc but certain things, like no death penalty and gay sex is a sin, I do agree with.....flame away but those other people don't seem to care how others might feel--why should I ?

I think Gomer wants to give the guy he lived with for 38 years spousal rights. Gomer is 84 years old, if he kicks the bucket he does not want his family to fight over the inheritance.
