I'd like a new pair of golf shoes, are there any other stores to look at with a good variety other than Golf Town and Nevada Bob/Dimarco? There used to be some good smaller stores but they seem to have closed up.

Somewhere on a golf course
The big box stores are slowly..

putting the small guys out of business...I for one still buy from the Pro Shop at my golf club instead of going to Golf Town....

Pro Golf on #7 closed too

My favourite store on Highway 7 and Leslie closed too this year. Al from Pro Golf knew his stuff and would make great deals. Try to deal with the big box stores...they think you are crazy. Play it again also sells new stuff too, thet are all over the place and the Buy and Sell Newpaper (every friday) sometimes has great deals on new or "gently used" stuff.

Green Grass

I have found that our club pro has made a point out of finding out what GT charges and ensures that the members are aware of the difference/matching of his prices, especially on the big ticket items.

Any equipment purchases I make at the club, and I would also include shoes in that basket. The personal service is a must should you have a hosel come loose or a leak in your waterproof shoes. Apparel and balls however, I find GT a better deal...

My 2 cents....
