from my perspective, unless the spa is engaged in something like human trafficking, LE just leaves it alone. I guess they would also be interested if drugs were being self from it, or some other illegal activity but if it’s just rubbing tug and occasional extras, they’ve got more important things to do.

Asian spas yes, there have been busts in the past targeting local massage parlours where trafficking was suspected. I stay away from those.

Places like CMJ or Alpha, not really. I've heard of liquor raids before the pandemic, but I think generally LE has better things to do.

Myself for me the Amp places need more health inspections and the ladies need monthly testing for STDs ,to many men going through these revolving doors.

Except for the Asian spas, god no.

Just to add a flavour to the discussion, we don't but I think the spas should be more worried about being on the radar of the local Public Health organizations instead of LE. One could argue PH have strong extra-judicial powers, can find any excuse, and thus are to be feared more.

Who? Public Health? Piss them off enough and they would figure out a way . I mean, what we saw during covid is about 1/10th of what they could do.

Based on data from StatsCan LE is NOT a concern these days. They're focussed on trafficking which is VASTLY more important than consenting adults.
