I will be going to Cuba next month and want to know the situation as it relates to meeting local working girls. I've been there in the past but it's been quite a while and I'm guessing things have changed over the last number of years.

When I was last there we were using U.S. dollars for partying and meeting girls but I hear that this is no longer accepted. I believe that the currency of favour is the local CUC? Any comments on which currency to bring would be welcomed. Also, we were able to meet local girls at a local club in Veradero. This was a local spot where you don't usually find tourists but there were lots of girls available to chat and take out.

I won't be having any say in this but this time it looks like we'll be staying around Cayo Santa Maria, which is east of Veradero if I'm not mistaken. Are there any local spots in that area where we can meet local women? While I don't know the resort just yet, does anyone know if we can conveniently find a cab to take us to the local joints from our resort?

Dude you are going to an island, you aint going anywhere but there. I'd make friends with the bartenders and other staff and discretely inquire, there is a good chance that there will be some staff ladies who want to make some extra money.
I don't stay at resorts myself but I have a friend who was at one and there was an arrangement with the staff where they would bring you to a 'special ' room and you could choose your girl. But this is before the clampdown which has really tightened up P$P.
I was there in January, did a tour of the island for a couple of weeks and had a good time but it was a hassle at times. I am fluent in Spanish and can blend in well but it took awhile to get a hang of things. The girls often were very scared to be seen or do business with a foreigner.
Spent one night only in Veradero (which probably was clamped down the most) and I helped a couple of tourists get some girls. We hooked up a cab and drove about 30k to nearby Cardenas where we went to an apartment and there were about five 18-20 year old girls very happy to see us.
US dollars are banned on the island, you need to change everything into CUC's. Don't bring US as they impose a penalty when you exchange them, Canadian are better.
Just be patient, remember this is Cuba and there are thousands of fantastic women who will fuck you (silly) for money, you just gotta find them!

Only change the money that you need while you are there. There is a cost involved in changing bak to $CA. And don't forget the departure tax! Fold that in your passport along with the tourist card and lock it all away in a safe.

Dude... anything goes with cuban women. Fucked most bareback when I was down there. Paid between $500 to $700 CUC for the lady to spend the night.

Was there last December. Planning on returning maybe in January when the weather is better. 1 CUC = $1.15 CDN. Go to authentic Cuban clubs. Picking up women is like shooting fish in a barrel. You will know how Brad Pitt feels. Negotiate but the better and smarter gals will cost more, yet still a bargain relative to here. Hotels will allow you to take a gal back but you must register her at the front desk and pay 60 CUC. You can grease a security guard perhaps 40 CUC to look the other way, but another guard might catch you on their CCTV and knock on your door (ergo a second bribe).

Best route would be to rent a 'Casa Particulare' (someone's private residence for say 20 CUC a pop). You can rent a casa for 30 to 45 CUC per person per day, depending on location and whether the house has a pool, etc.

You can even pick up girls in the open squares or outdoor cafes and bars. Some are more pros than others.

Be careful not to be seen with a local by a cop. They could arrest her or give her a hard time. Make sure no girl you're with is underage - you wouldn't want to be incarcerated in a Cuban prison.

I have had 4 trips to Cuba, Veradaro is family vacationing. Havana and the clubs, is the place too go. Girls arrive for a few days from the countryside for some quick cash. They need to return to there homes, in Cuba people have passes stamped by local Le. If they are found out they extend allotted time, they are heavily fined.

It's alot of fun away from the tourist spots, Drive down to Cardenas, Cienfuegos, Santi Spiritus. Girls are more open and less fear of the police. All in all it usually cost about 40 CUC for the NIGHT, not like someone mentioned 500. If someone is paying 500 in Cuba, that person is a fool. Just remember, monthly salary in Cuba is from 30 to 70 CUC. Don't exchange all your money as you will loose to convert it back from CUC. Canadian dollars are the best.
Varadero, average is 40 to 60 for the night but girls are scared of the police. If the girl is not working in the hotel and found in Varadero without peoper cause, she will go to jail. But get to know someone at your hotel, I mean give few CUC and ask for the girl to be brought o the hotel.
Also, about 80% of the ladies at the hotels will be more than happy to stay with you (personal experience), I have been to Cuba about 20 times and enjoyed it quite well. Few cheap gifts from here go a long way.

Go to the Dollar store buy lip stick, pantyhose, eyeliner, school supplies, candy. Leave as gifts in your room. Maids will make sure your room gets cleaned up before the other guests. Go too the public beaches see the milfs and mix in.

Bring some name brand stuff that they only hear about. That will get them excited. Many of these girls have kids so something for them like candy will be appreciated.
