This may be Hollywood's perfect storm weekend, they stand to lose in excess of $600 million.

Disney's Snow White has to amass a $150 million box office for the weekend to break even. Netflix sank $250 million into The Electric State, it's getting slaughtered by critics, it could be a significant black eye for Chris Pratt. Netflix is luckier, they have unwittingly stumbled into a cultural phenomenon as important as Chernobyl. Adolescence is written and co-acted by Stephen Graham. This is the project that finally gets him out of Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy's shadow.

Up to this point Stephen Graham's most memorable role was Al Capone on Boardwalk Empire.

I never miss a Paul Thomas Anderson film, he reached a high point with There Will Be Blood. His films since then have been good but he's lost his leads, Daniel Day Lewis has retired and Phillip Seymour Hoffman has left us.

Maybe his latest film will drink everyone's milkshake.

The grossly under-rated Wood Harris is in this film.

When I saw the promos for Adolescence, I was wondering if that was the same guy as Capone. Thanks.

I won't be helping the box office. I'm watching Witness for the Prosecution. And now that I'm in the final quarter of reading Along Came a Spider, I'll soon be watching the movie, not that it has great reviews.
