Actually, you might want to try the Viking Motel On 2720 Grand River Drive. You can score a room for as little as $30 if they have a vacancy. No frills motel. Most you will pay is $50. Owners & staff are Indian and speak broken English. They are kind of rude but for that price I will put up with their bullshit. Some real hotties in that area who appear to be working girls.Me and some friends are driving down to see the Jays. Can anyone recommend an affordable option for a clean, decent motel/inn/hotel in the area of the ball park? We spend little time in the room as we are more likely to be eating out, drinking beer than chilling in the room.

Take it from a guy who has lived in the shadow of Detroit nearly his entire life..... I would not stay anywhere near the stadium unless it was in one of the larger hotels down on Jefferson and unfortunately those are quite expensive. Ask the owner how to contact Lamar or Marshawn. They sell some of the best weed I have ever had at ridiculously low prices compared to Toronto & New York.
