Tremendous game by Joseph tonight. The Red Wings played poorly and he kept us in it, looking sharp the whole way.
With both Hasek and Legace hurting, it's kind of nice to have a guy like that to call up from the minors.

Cujo ran crying to Detroit, desperate to win the Stanley Cup last season, couldn't pull it off, and won't be able to do it again this year. Cujo's days are numbered, and there are a lot of better goalies out there. He's made his bed, let him lay in it. Unlike baseball, you can't buy the Holy Grail of Hockey.

There was a lot of hype over nothing. I was glad to see him go, because I never considered him to be one of the top ten goalies. Cory Schwab kept the Leafs in the playoff hunt in 01/02, and Eddy has more than filled Cujo's spot since.
