Is there an interent cafe near where you are? maybe zip over and try to access from there. If you can access, then give your provider a call & see whats up. If it's Rogers they may be filtering your internet - they are facists.

Sometimes when gmail gives you a coronary use your browsers tools to clear your cache. Dump your cookies as well.
