Those who tend to wear uniforms are selected for fitness. They are "fit" hot to begin with in the same way cheerleaders are picked for both beauty and fitness.

A few years ago I was at a car show in Detroit. There happened to be a group of young, black, female cops patrolling the show. Damn, they looked sharp in their uniforms!

Military service is/was compulsory in Israel for all women (and men) except for the religious.
