Yea I just watched it for the first time last month. It was a good movie. I have the other two movies The Girl Who Kicked Over The Hornests Nest and The Girl Who Played With Fire but I havent had the time to see them yet.

Wow, that was some trailer, maybe I should watch it again. I enjoyed the movie, didn't find the excitement or suspense-action of the trailer though.

The books were absolutely fantastic. Didn't want to put any of the three down once I had started them.
Have seen the first film, but not the other two. Have to put them back on my TDL.

I have seen the first two original films....very interesting movies and I quite enjoyed both of them. Will see the third one pretty soon.

I have read all the books and saw all the movies. The books are way better and I am afraid of the American remake of the film. It is a shame that the author died because I think he had a lot more ideas for Salander.

They're Swedish films and are very good. The first one in particular is outstanding.

It's always a bit of a letdown to see a perfectly good film re-made into English for no other reason that the North American public has an unexplainable adversion to reading subtitles. No matter how good the re-make may be, it'll always lose something as the impact of original film is what made it successful.

If you travel anywhere else in the world, people have seen 'Lord of the Rings', 'American Beauty', 'Amadeus', 'Pretty Woman' et al and these non English speaking film patrons saw these films...subtitled!

If you mention 'Abre los Ojos', 'Diabolique', 'Il Mare', 'L'ultimo Bacio' or 'If You Are The One' (all huge international hits) to the vast majority of North Americans, they'll just look at you blankly and confused.

Dubbed into English, which is very good, or with subtitles, depending on which settings you use on the DVD player.
