I still can't believe it, people world wide attend The Gilroy Garlic Festival.

It's supposed to be a celebration of food delights, California wine and bad breath.

Donald Trump tweeted on Sunday night that people in the area should “be careful and safe!” but is yet to issue further comment. On Monday morning the president was tweeting a fresh series of attacks on Democratic congressman Elijah Cummings, and the city of Baltimore in his district, after picking a fight with the senior Democrat over the weekend. BTWcongressman Elijah is Black; Trump is just demonstrating how much of a racist he is.

And Trump aimed an attack at the civil rights activist Al Sharpton, who plans to hold a press conference in Baltimore later on Monday morning.

A number of 2020 Democratic presidential candidates reacted to the shooting overnight.
“This violence is not normal,” Joe Biden tweeted. “How many more families will have to lose a loved one before we fix our broken gun laws? We must take action, starting with real reform.”

So Biden believes that banning guns will make America safer; seriously his boss is a white bigot who hates women. Not only that banning handguns or guns don’t apply to criminals.

The president of the United States has a well-deserved problem with women voters but it may not be for the reasons you’d suspect. It turns out the racism may actually be more distasteful to working class white women than the numerous sexual assault allegations.

Team Trump seems to be aware of the problem. In June, only a month from his most recent sexual assault (and in this case rape) allegation by writer E. Jean Carroll, Donald Trump’s re-election campaign decided it was time to focus on the president’s woman problem, with its inadvertently hilarious “Women for Trump” organization.

Conventional wisdom would dictate that the president might have some issues attracting women voters he wasn’t related to. After all, Carroll’s is not the first, second, third, fourth, or fifth allegation against Trump. It’s the 17th.

That is 17 allegations of sexual assault.

My brain hurts...my brain hurts...a garlic festival...I still can't even begin to comprehend it. Did the shooter have buttered scones with tea before going on his rampage.

I'm attempting to understand, is Gilroy the Camden of California? It seems like a picturesque town that likes smelly things. I don't understand, I REALLY DON"T UNDERSTAND.

I worked close to there and have friends that still live in this area. Fortunately they would not go to the festival.

Dane, you worked in San Jose? Gilroy is in the San Jose Valley 52km south of the city. I've known about the festival for years, it was featured on The Food Network. Why anyone would want to shoot it up is beyond my scope of comprehension.

Now I fear for lovely Claire.
