I have an appt at University and College and have to be there at 8:30 AM. I do not go downtown much and am noty sure the best way to go or how long it will take from Markham road and Steeles. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Millikin (?) Go stop until you hit the Subway?

edit: The TTC website actually has downloadable PDFs of their whole system (day and night), and the Go Transit site actually has an interactive planner thingy.

You need to give yourself a minimum of 45 minutes, and parking in the core is a bitch especially since you can't do street parking until 9:00 am. If the meeting is that important, I would leave at 7:00 am so you don't get too stressed and if something does screw up traffic even more you are not pooched.

You should have said you were driving from the beginning. I was about to give you kick-ass TTC directions. Alas, driving is not my thing. Sorry.

Leave at 630. Go west on Steeles, south on Birchmount, west on Eglinton, west on o'connor, north on Don Mills, south on the DVP to Bloor. This leaves you tons of time to find parking close enough to where you're going and grab a Sun and a Timmie's or Starpukes before your appointment.
