here and there
Lately I've been reading some of the threads involving Britteny, RR vs. Paul IT etc.

While somewhat entertainning, it seems to me that everyone else thinks their opinions are extremely valuable and must be shared with the rest of the membership on TERB.

Naturally, we are always interested in what some of the opinionated members have to say and look forward to your in depth analysis of every minute detail of a post, kind of like the colour commentary if you will...not - get the fuck over yourselves.

Honestly people, let's take the lady B thread as an example - she came out firing on all cylinders, then apologized...and people with no involvement feel the need to analize the original thread and the apology...are you fuckin serious? She apologized, leave it alone.

Can we just get back to reviews and finding out who offers the best sex for money, or the best massage, or the best VIP dance...

I don't think over analyzing every word that is posted by someone is helpful or productive, and sometimes we should take a step back and realize that no one cares whether the poster said and or it, but look at the spirit of the post. Wadign through the bullshit and garbage on this board sometimes makes it difficult to see the real value.

I know there will be those who wish to respond to this thread and tell me I'm full of it etc., so please accept Fuck Off as my response in advance.

I'm sure you must be aware of the irony in this, Elmo.

PS "get a life" was the best sitcom to ever hit the airwaves.

Some things just speak for themselves.

It's tempting ... hehe ... but, so as not to add to the already rampant irony, I'll take the "fuck off " option, for now, and continue to appreciate the community of TERB life with all it's quirks, charm, games, wit & various insights from the host of colourful characters.

Word that up. I thought I was reading a thread about the greatest show in the history of great shows.Instead, it's a guy whining about whiners. Irony indeed.

only dead people don't have a life.

No doubt, Chris had it made. It seemed to me that his parents were just expressing an obvious void in their own lives with their "concerns" that he need "get a life". I bet they never had it as good as him, so felt he shouldn't either.

He was the original sweet kid.

Stand in the place where you live
Now face North
Think about direction
Wonder why you haven't before
Now stand in the place where you work
Now face West

What are some of your fave episodes of Get A Life?

I think my top two are the handsome boy modelling agency one and the one where Chris and Larry get stuck in the roller coaster all day long.

If only some network would show G.A.L on a nightly basis for us hardcore fans.

Long live the greatest show ever made.

I agree with "The Prettiest Week of My Life" (Handsome Boy Modelling School), but I also enjoyed "Girlfriend 2000", "Spewey and Me", "Married", and so on.

One episode I found quite ingenious was "The Big City". Chris travels to the big city, is slipped a mickey and claims to have had his wallet stolen from him. He ends up being known as "Wallet Boy" and the town at first loves him, then hates him when they find out he left his wallet at home. The city itself is from the 40's/50's era and is shot in black and white.

I love his zany type of humour.
