I don't think Portugal will win. Germany is on home ground, they'll be working very hard to salvage something from this tournament, and more importantly, our defense is badly hobbled. Ferreira might be a better option defensively to replace Miguel, but he can't attack with anything like his team mate's effectiveness. Ricardo Costa, who will replace the mighty Carvalho, is a sorry substitute, he shouldn't even be on the team.

As I predicted, Ricardo Costa stunk up the field. I hope that's the last we'll see of Pauleta. I could've put my boot through the screen when he called for that handball. Pathetic.
What I want to know is why Scolari has been holding back on Gomes. He looked sharper than Pauleta from the second he stepped on the field.
As for the rest of you going on about dives, you're quite frankly pathetic. Like puppy dogs who've been taught one trick by the media. The fouls were even, and yup there were dives, but they were on both sides. If Ronaldo's are notable, it's only because he's so bad at it. He should watch the Italian masters and learn.
